Developing PAL Administration Portlet

We started to develop PAL Administration Portlet which is a administration portlet for Jetspeed2. I think that it will become one of other alternative admin tools for J2. I implemented user/role/group management portlet right now. In the future, I'll create portlet management, site management and so on..

Why not fix the existing one first or at least create some documentation ?
Will you consider documenting the usage for the new one ?
An adminstative portlet provides fundamental functinality for the server, and not knowing how to use it, is a main reason in not using it.

This project is open source. Any contribution(including document works) is welcome.
The existing admin tool is a mixing frameworks and uses ajax. But, for this portlet, a framework is Teeda, and it does not use ajax. So, the goal is different.

I understand it's open source and every one is welcome to contribute, but the efforts it takes someone to read the code and understand what the authore wanted to do, is way more that the efforts the authore can put to provide some documentation or guides. Further more, an authore who is looking to get his/her work popular, need to address the users concerns.
